John Soehner and Cindy Econopouly began Eco Farm in 1995.  They along with their kids Nichole and Willy produce fruit, vegetables, herbs, flowers, shiitake mushrooms, firewood, and hand-knitted goods. The name "Eco" symbolizes Cindy and John's affirmative beliefs in: "Ecology," or the positive relationship between people and our environment, "Economy," or the practical management of our resources, and "Econopouly," the Ellis Island-shortened surname of Cindy's paternal grandfather, Yorgos Economopoulos.

Eco Farm sells at the Wednesday and Saturday Markets.

Growing Practices: We farm using organic standards without the certification. We use biodegradable plastic with drip irrigation along with planting straight on the dirt.
